I noticed something funny when I was perusing facebook; Tommy Lee’s roommate is coming to UNO! I know! I couldn’t believe it either! Thank you UNO Republicans and Dayton Headlee for bringing in such an awesome guy that everyone knows and loves.
Wait, what’s his name again? And who the f*** cares? That show was probably the most fake reality tv show I’ve ever watched. The only cool thing was that you could see people you know on national television.
Did we get double confirmation on Fahey coming? Who is that guy anyway? Does he have his own reality tv show? Why can’t we get cool people like the UNO Republicans?
We can talk about how Governor Heineman and Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate Don Stenberg and David Kramer are doing everything they can to distance themselves from the incompetent Republican leadership in Washington D.C.
Americans for Informed Democracy will coordinate Hope not Hate, a town hall and videoconference series on the future of relations between the West and the Islamic world. This town hall discussion will address questions such as: “What is the long-term strategy for improving relations between the West and the Islamic world? Are the West and the Islamic world currently on the right path?”
The series began on the two-year anniversary of the September 11th attacks when citizens groups, 9/11 family members, and policymakers combined to commemorate September 11th with a positive call to collaborative action out of the ashes of tragedy. Last year, the series focused on the 9/11 Commission’s recommendation that America must share its “vision of opportunity and hope” with the Muslim world. This year, Hope not Hate is broadening its focus beyond US-Islamic understanding to Western-Islamic understanding as a way of commemorating and constructively responding to the recent bombings in London, the March 11, 2004, bombings in Madrid, and the November 20, 2003, bombings in Istanbul.
This event is FREE and OPEN to the public and will take place on:
Wednesday, November 9th from 6-8pm in the Milo Bail Student Center (MBSC) on the University of Nebraska (UNO) Campus. Parking will be available on campus at no charge.

I have been fascinated by the CIA leak story since I heard about it this summer. This week a decision will be made. What will this mean for the Bush administration or will they get away with yet another lie?
The Republican National Committee announced today that the Republican Party is changing its emblem from an elephant to a condom. Governor Marc Racicot, RNC chairman, explained that the condom more clearly reflects the party’s stance today, because a condom accepts inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you’re being screwed.
