Dave thank you for your very responsible post. If people were truly concerned with border security they would have insisted on better port security! They would have insisted on better relations with our neighbors to the north, you know Canada where the bombers came from.

We could put our citizns to work working for INS so that we can track down people who came here legally but are now here illegally(you know like so many of the 911 attackers were)so that they can be brought into custody but, instead we muddy the waters with a witch hunt against Mexicans.

These people aren’t afraid of the lak of border security. They are afraid that this country is becoming more black and brown every day.
This country needs to have a serious down and dirty discussion about race and racsim.

That is also pity, when the “other side” shows up boards like “everybody is immigrant in the USA”. And? Who talks about immigrants? We are against ILLEGAL immigration.

What’s wrong if somebody says “talk english or get out”? The english is my secound language, but I respect the country and I speak english. If I respect the country, why the minorities doesn’t?

What if everybody starts to speak their own language instead of the english?

Because English isn’t the national language. And I respect pluralism and their culture. It’s pretty clear that you don’t. The first amendment isn’t just for people who speak English.
