They have made making campaigns about non issues items into an art form but now Americans are waking up. They are demanding that candidates talk about issues that matter to them and yes some are even giving republicans a tatse of their own twisted message. However, I disagree with your statement, Robin that you can make a generalized statement about republicans and say that it is no surprise. This is a characteristic trait of all politically uneducated, republican and democrat alike. Example: This morning I heard democrats on the shuttle bus on the way from crossroads to the university state that they wouldn't vote for Jim Esch stictly because he's a pro-life dem. Maybe I didn't articulate myself properly I was speaking in generalities. All you have to do is turn on talk radio or watch the Sunday political pundits. I am a team captain for Esch and have personally went out Canvassing for him. So I don't base my decision on whether to support or not support a candidate based on one singular issue!
