Gov. H did pretty damn peachy Nebraska's GOP proved it doesn't mind having the primary purchased (though it charged a price tag I think most Nebraskan's could never dream of affording). Esch and Kleeb both turned out a lot of votes Moul only got 70%ish but, she still proved herself to be a hell of a candidate and viable alternative to Fort. Local races: Lamphier, Barrett, Bradley, Anderson, Velinsky.... I'll save those thoughts for other people with comments to make. anybody’s thoughts on this here election?

We may have lost this time around, and Bradley's race in particular was hard, but we gave it a whole lot of effort and came damn close. If not for high Republican turnout, we win a lot of these races. Don't give up the fight yet, we've been through worse times, we will see better times if we keep at it. Don Kleine is head and shoulders in experience and qualifications above Dornan in the County Atty race. This is a "no-brainer" on paper but what's "right" always doesn't tranlate to fact on election day! Haney is her own worst enemy and if Ewing can get some support he could beat her. All this doesn't happen unless people get the word out and actually are willing to volunteer at the local grassroots level. This is where it all starts! Get on the bandwagon!
