Kyle was being too modest and left out an important news item in his posting…..Kyle Michaelis was named Lancaster County Democrats Young Democrat of the Year!!!!

Great work with DemFEST ladies and gentlmen. Sounds like it was a truly kick-ass event.

And thank you to all those UNO College Democrats who joined the Lancaster County Democratic Party and the UNL Young Democrats in making last night’s Patriot’s Dinner in Lincoln an oustanding success. We owe all of you some pizza and soda pop…if you know what I’m saying. Consider that a promise to be paid in full when you cash in those two hours of NYD indentured servitude you fine folks so generously purchased.

We owe you one.

Guys, great job today. That was an INCREDIBLE event! I especially liked that fact that you had the live blogging on the site while the event was going on…that is brilliant.

You had 14 candidates running for various offices appear and speak. That’s impressive. This shows that the UNO College Democrats are probably the strongest Democratic power in Nebraska. This means, when the UNO College Democrats do something, people better sit up and pay attention. You should be proud. Keep up the amazing work!
