Tonight, a few members of the UNO College Democrats filmed an episode of Student Democrats TV.
President Chad Brakhahn and Vice President Cody Farrens were the guests and I was the host. Basically, the show is a 30 minute infomercial about the UNO College Democrats. If you are interested in joining the College Dems or want to know what we’ve been up to, then you need to tune into the show.
We couldn’t have filmed this award winning television without Till manning the cameras and Gary in the control booth.

Oh no, these guys have a show…. Fox News had better watch out. I caught the show monday and you guys did great. I’m getting pumped about the new year already.
Why was I not included in this? HELLO! This is my major.
Abbey, this is the Student Democrats monthly show (hosted by high school students.) They scheduled Chad and Cody as guests to talk about UNO Dems, State YD and the recent DNC meeting in Arizona. It was taped this month on the 21st, but because of the holidays the students who are the regular hosts did not show up, so Ryan pinch hit at the last minute. Fact is, it became an all-UNO show by accident, but it was also an excellent show. Which causes us to ponder how good some of these shows could be if UNO would do one on at least a monthly basis, incorporating the wealth of talent, particularly yours, that exists in this group.
I was really only kidding. I wasn’t around anyway. But if you want to do something like this again, I wouldn’t mind helping.
Abbey, that sounds great. I hope others want to participate as well, because this was a great show and could be a very positive development for the organization and amplify the voice for the causes and candidates championed by UNO Democrats.
I agree one hundred percent Gary. Next semester, look for us to be producing a weekly show to be aired on Cox Cable. We would love any and all help that we can get. This is a great opportunity to exploit another medium to get our message out to voters.
