When November roles around, you may see these people collecting their unemployment checks. Term limits are forcing twenty state senators out of office. If you’ve ever dreamed of making $12,000 a year doing the work of the people, then this may be your opportunity.

Let’s play a little game. Although it may not be as fun as the Jim Vokal for City Council slogan contest, I promise you’ll have a good time.
How many state senators can you name?
How to play: Take a minute and scan the pictures of the twenty senators above. See how many senators you can name (bonus points will be given if you know the district they represent).
How many senators could you name?

The survey was very accurate. I have a political science degree and could name two but recognized six of them. I wasn’t sure if your article supported or opposed term limits. I was on a committee back in the day against term limits when there where no term limits. My main argument against them is to keep new blood in the system and make those in the system appreciate their position. If people want to be active in politics they do not necessarily hold an office although that is probably the best way to get things done. I was speaking to someone yesterday and she said that most politicians make all kinds of promises but when they get in office they just join the old boys club and forget about their constituents. Hopefully, term limits may curtail that activity.
11 (plus a few bonus ponts) …wow, that’s kind of sad.
