JIm,

YOu are absoultely right about the 2nd CD but most importantly Ward @ or North Omaha. According to figures that I got from the NDP. Ward 2 is one of the most partisan areas in the State of Nebraska. There is tremendopus untapped political power in my hood.

Please do not make the mistake of other candidates before you and ignore this area. Walk North O ask for our vote ask us to volunteer and most importantly talk about issues that matter to us and have some diversity on your staff.

Good luck with your race.

Good luck, Jim, with this campaign. I agree wholeheartedly with what Robin is saying. On a national level, too, we need to realize that African Americans are the most loyal constituency we have, but lately, the party has been ignoring their concerns. And when you do that, people just start staying home. That's true with any group. Don't forget about your base, because without them, you don't stand a chance.

I heard some of your ideas when you came to our meeting and I think you have some good things to say. I hope that the national party will not ignore you like they ignored Thompson and Conneally in 2004. I have a feeling that Howard Dean will be less likely to do so.

Just one suggestion: an online volunteer form would be more convenient than printing off a form from the website.
