10 - I Have a Case of the Mondays

The same people who think that Liberal is a dirty word would also not want to have a case of the Mondays. As for me, Monday is the best day of the week. Instead of dreading another round of classes, I look forward to meeting new people and expressing myself on Monday nights.

Attending a meeting is only the beginning. There are many opportunities to become involved with our University and to help the Democratic Party throughout the community. I realize that we are a commuter campus, allowing the College Democrats (and the Gallery Room) to become a home away from home. The friendships are real, these students have open minds and big hearts. We encourage new members and take on new tasks. Every event is exciting and each party is a success. I would love for everyone to become involved with this fantastic organization. You can make friends on campus and meet people who are active in the political world around us. This organization means the world to me, and I’m sure it does to many of you.

Not only am I a Maverick, I am a Liberal with a bad case of the Mondays, and I hear that it’s contagious. Hope to see you next week.

karlee, no one has commented on your article so I thought I would give it a shot. Maybe no one has written on it because it is a self evident truth. All we need is sex, drugs and rock and roll. Well, that is what I used to think when I was around your age. Alcohol is a drug right? We need to legalize all drugs and end the electoral college and lower the voting age. I forgot everyone will read this. Fuck ‘em. Maybe that will stimulate some comments.
