Did not always agree with Exon. But everyone can agree that this was an honest, compassionate, smart man who was always representing the family farmer.

Jim Exon was a great man and politician- no matter which party he represented.

He is the type of person the Democrat party should rebuild around a hard working everyman. The states of Nebraska and the world is a little bit worse off now that he is gone.

Jim Exon is a wonderful man. He is the type of man the democrats and republicans should model after. He is a true democrat the type of democrat that could work both sides of the aisle and look for the solution not the problem. I am deeply saddend that Jim Exon is in heaven now. May God bless his family in this sad time.

I remember I met the Senator once when I was really young I can’t remember how old I was but I do remember the feeling of awe not because of his being a tall man but it was his aura.

Senator Exon was a great Statesman and will be greatly missed.
