I have no idea why Sigerson wants to relive this embarrassment. Most people in the City of Omaha had forgotten about this incident. The flier didn’t do much harm since he won re-election, and I don’t see how Sigerson can gain anything from this lawsuit. If anything, it is going to hurt him. On Sunday, all the major news channels led with this story and reminded people that Chuck Sigerson “allegedly” molested a Red Robin. Does Sigerson want people to be reminded of this? And with James Martin Davis representing the defendants, this promises to be a fun case to watch.

I had no idea Sigerson was so dumb but I really have to appreciate him just for providing so much entertainment. I wonder where Lautenbaugh (Sigerson’s atty) is thinking this will go?

Well, with James Martin Davis representing the defendants…and with all the defendants named in the suit, it’s apparent that this frivilous suit will be thrown out. We all know that Hug rented the box for the flier to be mailed from, and that the other people and organizations named in the suit had nothing to do with it…but we still don’t know who created the flier in the first place. The only thing we do know is that most of the people named didn’t have anything to do with it.
Chuck was well…stupid…to file this lawsuit because it not only reminds people of his past indiscretions, but it also will be tossed out and in turn, he’ll be counter-sued for legal expenses… But then again, this is a guy who spent about $100,000 in legal fees to get a hung jury last time around.

If I remember the 2000 election cycle correctly, it was the Republican Party machine of Karl Rove who brought down John McCain. Doing things better you say. How is this? The Nebraska Democratic Party has one candidate running in the 3rd C.D. and the Nebraska Republican Party has seven running in the 3rd C.D. The Nebraska Democratic Party will have one candidate for Governor running while the Nebraska Republican Party will have three running. From what I have heard from my friends in the Young Repubs, it is surpising that as unpopular as Rep. Terry is with them, that he is not being challenged by yet another faction of the Nebraska Republican Party. It is time to call this Republican infighting exactly what it is infighting. The Democrats are united. The Republicans are divided and this line of Republican thinking has lead Nebraska in the wrong direction. In 2004, Nebraska was 50th, dead last, in economic development. Under a Republican Gov and Two Congressman and a host of State Senators that are republican Nebraska came in dead last for all fifty states for economic development.

I am always happy to see such a consistency of thinking among Democrat young people. They never waiver from the party line and even use the same phrases over and over. Such originality is what keeps the conservatives winning…keep up the good work.
