What poster do you want to see on campus next? This is an open forum to share your ideas so please comment below!
Take a look at the poster currently on campus. You can click on the image to enlarge.
If you need ideas for posters, please visit a previous blog post. That post has links to several poster websites.

If any one really likes a poster or makes one of their own, they should bring 25-50 copies with them to College Dems any Monday. Eventually we’ll put them up or hand them all out.
From a marketing perspective I think sticking with one dominant poster is best- but there is no reason to be absolute about it. I think at any given time 50% of our posters should be one thing, and the other 10%, 10%, 10% and so on should be on other smaller niche topics (enviornment, choice, college tuition, partying, etc).
…As long as the posters aren’t text-heavy. The current Bush-Spring Break Iraq ones are great as they draw people in and hold attention just long enough for the observer to get the message.
I think you could work this image into a poster if it wasn’t color:
but to reitterate my point I made at the meeting, if the posters are being used to attract people, and not just one specific type of person (there is more than one kind of democrat guys) I think they should be more proactive. A consistent theme throughout the posters is a great idea, but you can have more than one poster. Furthermore, is the defining characteristic of a democrat that they hate President Bush? Does Pepsi run ad campaigns that only say “we’re not Coca-Cola”? Anti-Bush posters are easy, and obvious, but I think there might be a better way that might not leave a bad taste in the mouths of some of the people you may be trying to recruit.
OK, so my image link didn’t work. Here’s a direct link.

Nice picture! No kidding, I love it. I could see a color version of it being a really great poster. We’d get labled “comunists who hate america” pretty fast, but we’re already labled it. And at least we’d be putting up flags all over campus. Maybe we could attach those cheep little plastic flags to the posters- a gimmicky thing.
Oh the mind races…
I also like the picture your pictures. I think it would work and I think we could diversify. But the main reason for the anti-bush posters, are to hook an audience with a great attention getter.
So that is the reason for all the Bush Posters.
I love it. The Republicans paint it as a fallacy yet all you have done is raised a logical question. Mr. Bush has invaded two sovereign nations, has his eyes on Iran, and is breaking his promise to allow troops to come home after their tour is up. For a president as ´resolute´as George W Bush, what do you thing would be his logical next step? Withdraw overstretched troops from one of the US occupied countries or Draft a larger military. Common sense would tell us, the American people, that our leader would be more American that to reinstate the military Draft, but if common sense were guiding our leader, the face of the nation and world would be vastly different right now. I will side with reason and say that the little five letter word has crossed Mr. Bush´s mind a time or two and I will also side with reason when I say that although on the surface a Draft would look like political suicide to Bush, so did almost everything he did during his first term and yet he is back for another. Bush has nothing to lose, and he is a masterful politician. The half of the nation that sides with him now are blindly in love with the worst President in American history, and very little may be able to change that. A Draft IS a real option on Bush´s table and something tells me that the ´war president´, our fearless leader, would not be afraid to reinstate it.
